Company History
Founded in 1979, CAT offers it's customers a 94,000
square foot fully integrated facility. We do certified
welding and fabrication, CNC machining and equipment
assembly. Our qualified and
experienced staff are ready and
available to manufacture your
projects to your specifications.
With leading edge technology, commitment to quality and continuous
improvement programs, our customers are assured that all
parts and machinery are produced to meet the most strict
requirements.
As an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, CAT prides
itself on offering quality, cost effective and on-time
delivery solutions.
1979 Established as Lankim Tool & Die (Galant
& Sekimic) in a 1,500 sq. ft. facility
1981 Louis Galant became sole owner of Lankim
Tool & Die and moved to a 3,000 sq. ft. facility.
1986 Awarded large contracts from Dana & Rockwell
and moved to a 10,000 sq. ft. facility.
1991 Expanded operations to a 15,000 sq. ft.
facility to increase engineering and manufacturing
functions.
1995 Changed name to Canadian Automation & Tool
International Inc. to promote product awareness.
1996 Has new 40,000 sq. ft. facility built.
1998 Canadian Automation & Tool International Inc.
was registered as C.A.T. International Inc.
2000 Expands facility to a 94,000 sq. ft.
2009 Neven Galant becomes official
President/Owner. Louis Galant semi-retires.
